Not to disagree too much with Dr. Mercotan, but I don’t see that it was that big a deal. smiling bandit posted what he was basing his idea on, and thus offered the opportunity to evaluate how seriously to take it. Certainly not a very authoritative “cite”, but he didn’t seem to be claiming that it was.
It is still just a messageboard.

It’s good that most of the dust has settled in this thread, and nearly everybody is calmer. I just got here, and I had not read any of it until now. If you don’t mind, I’ll lift post 50 out of the debris just to admire the writing. It is sharp and colorful, though somewhat erroneous. I’m still trying to figure out if “depp” is a reference to the mysterious actor, or just a typo.

Well, two things. One, vanity searching on “Liberal” returns too many crackpot leftist hand wringing lamentation philippics and too many bizarre right wing scathing condemnation non sequiturs to be useful in finding my user name. And second, it would not occur to me to search on “Drama-Queen” since the phrase is not a hyphenated word. No offense taken on the cheap shot, by the way.
