Great now we get to have a potential diplomatic incident over a dog. 
I think he’s cute, too.
It’s really not as ugly as one would expect a hairless, toothless dog to be!
Didn’t foreign leaders used to try to give expensive animals as gifts to their cousin kings to bankrupt them? Like, imagine what it would cost to keep an elephant warm and fed in Elizabethan England. Yet you couldn’t turn it down for fear of “insulting” the giver. So they’d saddle one another with ridiculously expensive menageries in some sort of international game of Worst Gift Ever.
I thought I read that somewhere once. Maybe I’m just making it up.
I thought that was where the whole white elephant thing came from.
If they do get that dog, they need to get one of these to have a matched set!

Well I was voting for the Chinese Crested, so certainly I have no call to say anything bad about this one.
Actually looks pretty cute with the ears, though I don’t know that I’d take one unless it did have teeth.
