Practical Tips for Camping

Great humor. Thanks Muffin.

Mini glosticks to mark the tent stakes/lines to keep from tripping on them. You can color code your tents so you dont get lost getting back =)

Folding BBQ grill. Folds flat, easy to schlep along. If you keep a pot of water perking along on one end, you can have hot water aftrer dinner to help make washing up a bit easier, or temper cold water for a quick shower before bed if someone used up the solar shower water that got preheated by the sun. Although I prefer to have a pressurized shower myself =) I keep one of these on the farm for in the winter and power goes off, heat a huge pot of water on the woodstove and take a civilized shower with hot water.

And a PET toilet is nice in camp if you are car camping. I have joint issues that now prevent me from camping rough, but there is no need for a hole in the ground when you can haul the waste out. It was very handy before we got the generator at home to power the water supply during electrical outages.
