Did anyone go to see the live cinecast of “A Prairie Home Companion” last night? I’m planning to go on Tuesday evening to see the encore and am interested in your impressions of the show.
I heard it was $20 to get in to the movie. I used to live 2 blocks from the Fitzgerald Theater andwent to the Friday night dress rehearsal performances for $10.
Post-weekend bump. Did anybody go to see the show on Thursday?
I did see the show. I enjoyed it. Elvis Costello was fun and sang a couple of really good tunes. The girl who was slated to replace Garrison was funny, though she seemed to suffer from stage fright.
One interesting thing to me–we ran into a guy going in who said he was a HUGE fan of Glen Beck. I would not have thought the two fandoms overlapped to any great extent.
