I applaud everyone for not being a dick to him. Mostly, we’ve been pretty gracious in victory so far.

Except that I never hated Obama, and I don’t think is a disaster for the country. I favored McCain’s policies more than Obama’s, but I think (and have said on many occasions) that Obama is a decent man who will work hard to be a good leader, and who has transformed the vision of a modern political campaign organization.
So I don’t really get the sense there’s much in the way of gloating to be done, aimed at me.
Undoubtedly there are those who still think I’m scum on general principles, though – perhaps they could stop by and weigh in just to give the thread a real Pit feel.

Good on you Bricker, I commend you on making good on your bets. I haven’t always agreed with what you’ve said, but I’ve respected your right to say it. And the fact that you stick by what you say, even in the face of so much hatred at times shows you’re a man of conviction. And I can respect that.
