Pre-Hysteria Comes True! Mini-Dinosaurs

Palaeontologists have unearthed a fossil of what is certain to be the world’s smallest dinosaur on record from the Lake Barreales region of Argentina.

Dubbed the ‘Mini-Rex’ it was the size of a thumbnail, weighed in around 14 grams and was a carnivore every bit as much as its larger cousin.

Research suggests they fed by preying on smaller animals and pre-historic insects. However, they also bit into larger animals with their razor sharp teeth, entering through open wounds to eat them from the inside out.
