I thought it was a decent popcorn flick but nowhere near as good as the first Predator movie with Arnie. I kind of prefer if the predator stayed a little more mysterious, but that’s just my preference. Overall the movie was good, clean fun.
I was also worried about this (still traumatized by the star wars prequels 
). But I thought they revealed enough to make the plot work, but not every last detail.
I really enjoyed this movie, even more than Prey, or the first one. I think the pacing is really good. I am looking forward to the rewatch.
I loved all the Predator movies, Alien vs Predator movies, and video game spinoffs.
To my surprise, this one was my favorite! It was the only one that gave them any sort of characterization beyond “noble savage hunter with a code of honor”.
You gotta have the occasional Predator as MC movie or the franchise just becomes a series of “giant alien warrior gets beaten by puny human” over and over again. They need some wins.
