Preparing for calculus

I’m considering beginning a masters program that would require some statistics courses which in turn require calculus as prerequisites.

Now, many, many moons ago (about 500 moons, to be more precise) I took college calculus, about which I remember nothing, and a few more moons before that I took the high school courses required in preparation for calculus, about which I feel somewhat more confident.

What would be the best way to review for re-taking calculus, assuming I have about six months? Anybody ever done this?

I was in a similar situation, in which I was out of school for several years and then wanted to take calculus in the Fall semester. During the prior summer, I took two evening classes at the local community college:
College Algebra
Trigonometry

Those two classes gave me an excellent review, making the first semester of Caclulus much less painful.

A large part of basic calculus is algebra and trigonometry. Learn them, and learn them well.
