President Clinton, Secret Service protection for life or 10 yrs?

Hillary Clinton as the spouse of a former president gets lifetime Secret Service protection. In the late 90s Congress changed the law and limited protection for a president & spouse 'till 10 years after leaving office (Bush is 1st pres this effects). If Hillary runs for office and wins in 2008 will she retain lifetime protection as the spouse (or widow) of a former president or will she be subject to the 10 year limit?

I imagine she’ll always be a former First Lady who is entitled to lifetime protection. Becoming President can’t change that unless this legislation was retroactive and it isn’t. So long as she doesn’t remarry, she’ll have her own detail for as long as she wants it.
