If I recall, there was an issue with Clinton’s and I don’t believe that Obama has released more than a short summary.
Are candidates’ medical records somehow less private than any other citizens?
Legally? No. But they generally choose to release them, at least in some form.
Here is the summary of Obama’s records. Here is one summary of McCain’s. I recall some controversy over the way McCain’s summary was released: you can see it only covers the last eight years, and I believe reporters were only allowed to puruse the records for a short period of time, on a Friday - the traditional dumping ground for bad news. It was pretty weird.
I couldn’t find any summary released by Clinton, although her history with health care issues made searching more complicated.
