Priceline.com booked me at the Swissotel-Watergate in DC...

Anyone know anything about this hotel? I paid $99 for the room per night and online it says rates are $230 and up, so it seems I got a good deal.

It says it is located in the Foggy Bottom/Georgetown area. Does anyone know anything about this hotel or what it is close too? The website really is not very useful…

Thanks bunches!

It’s SWEET. Swanky, classy, high-falutin’, and any other such adjectives you can think up. I mean, it’s The Watergate, okay? You’re right on the Potomac, a stone’s throw from the Kennedy Center and a 10 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro station.

Unless they stick you in the janitor closet. That’s what I would expect for a $99 rate at that place.

If you like shopping you’ll love Georgetown. There’s Armani Exchange, Kenneth Cole, Benetton, Coach and Banana Republic, to name a few.

Have fun!

You booked the WATERGATE for $99??? I HATE YOU!!!

Well, not really, but Jeezus. That’s where reeeeallly rich and famous people live when they’re in Washington. Although they probably book better suites than yours.

Bunch of reviews from other Priceline customers.

Trust me.

You’re living large.

After Attrayant’s advice, I called to check to see what kind of room it was.

King with Riverview. Sounds ok to me!

And if you notice people fumbing about in a dark room, be sure to note down exactly which room they’re in. A Senate Subcommittee will be very interested later on…

Damn, can I come stay with you? That is a REALLY nice hotel… Not as nice as the Hay-Adams but I wouldn’t complain…
