Lets go people, this may well have been done before, but, and a big but here; I just felt really rather ripped off here filling up the petrol tank of my car today, cost £32 bloody quid ($50USD)
In the UK today things cost this much, conversion to US$ correct as of 4/10/02:
Petrol/Gas - 76.9p Ltr = $1.20/ltr (=$4.56 per US Gallon)
Ciggies/Fags - £4.20 per 20 Ciggies = $6.59
Beer (e.g. pint of Stella Artois, in a pub) £2.70 = $4.23 ($5.04 per US Pint)
Car Insurance £1100 (25 year old/clean license 1990 Honda CRX) $1724
Average House Price (all houses so includes crap 2 up 2 down terrace jobs, i.e. tiny 2 bedroom nasty low value stuff) $147957 = $232004
Is this country expensive or what. Gotta love Tony Blair ROTFLMAO.
