I was all set to watch it tonight.
My social life, normally nonexistant, reared up and I said " yes" to something and as we are about to walk out the door I remembered P&P tonight on PBS.
We don’t have a VCR or a DVDr.
If someone could burn thee three shows of it for me, I will make it worth your while. I swear.
And, while I am groveling like Mr. Collins, does anyone have Persuasion?

I don’t know what kind of TV set-up you have, but DirecTV has several more showings listed after tonight, in case you don’t get any takers. My local station is repeating it, and the west coast PBS station is too.
I’d be glad to record it for you, but I don’t have any recording equipment.
And dang! I checked Amazon for cheap DVDs and there aren’t any. Lots of used copies but the price is about the same as new.
Sorry for the bad news, Shirley Ujest, but while recording it yourself for your own viewing purposes is legal, having someone else burn a copy and then redistribute it is not. You’ll have to get ahold of a copy in some other way.
