What do you Canucks think of Harper’s surprise performance at the National Arts Centre a couple of days ago?

I kinda liked it personally. He sounded pretty good!
And here I thought he didn’t like luxurious arts galas.
Well the Toronto Star sure is an impartial paper. And I love how they twisted “Ordinary people understand we have to live within a budget,” into “Ordinary folks don’t care about arts.”
Anyway, we’re digressing, no?
Harper apparently passed his Grade 9 Toronto Conservatory, so he and Yo Yo could have gotten jiggy with some Beethoven, but I guess they just didn’t have time to practise!
Just saw the clip now. You know, for a musical amateur to walk on the stage and pull that off without even a hint of nervousness in his voice - pretty impressive.
