That’s been puzzling me. They’re divorced. Are they living together still, or just living close to each other? Are they sharing custody?
They are apparently good friends. Just not good as a married couple.

There’s actually been some talk in the last few years about them getting remarried. But Prince Philip and Charles both loathed Fergie. So now that he’s in charge, she has no chance whatsoever of officially re-joining the family.

I always figured those crazy kids would get remarried. I guess living together works for them. They never did fully divorce relationship wise, certainly a fully legal divorce. they have lived in the same house for years.
oddly neither has ever had a serious romantic relationship with anyone else (I would not consider the current horrible situation Andrew is in a serious relationship. Seriously illegal, disgusting, reprehensible, yes; romantic definitely not.).
He not only lost all sorts of titles and uniforms, they also took away his flag pole. He is not allowed to fly the york flag when he is in residence.

Yes, Andrew gave her the pups, right after Philip died. Supposedly Sarah picked them out.
Andrew has always had a close relationship with his Mum; by some accounts, he was her favorite child, and certainly by the time he came along she had more time to spend with him than she’d had with her first two. Charles was barely three and Anne 18 months when Elizabeth became queen, and even in the months before that she’d spent much time filling in for her father.
Particularly since Philip died, she spent a lot of time with Andrew, since he lived close by and had no other tasks to fill his days.
It’s a 30 room house, so they can and probably do live pretty separately. It’s not like they’re constantly waiting for the other to finish in the bathroom in the morning.
