Just replaced the ink cartridge in an Epson ink-jet printer. Now the printer prints blanks pages. IOW, the printer head goes back and forth busily making all the customary noises, but the pages do not have the slightest trace of ink. The printer check function says the ink level is full, and I ran the clean nozzle heads utility a couple of times with no result.
Some inkjet printer cartridge heads have a thin plastic protective film to keep them from drying out that has to be peeled off. HP’s are like this don’t know about Epsons. Might be worth checking out.
That’s surely the first thing I’d check. Sometimes a bad seat of the cartridge in its cradle can cause it to fail to perform. Try just removing it and putting it back in.
Actually, if you check for the first thing, you’ll wind up doing that anyway.
How old is the printer? I notice I have to throw out ink jets after a certain number of pages. Print heads on the Epson (what kind of Epson is this?) suck. Why its cheaper almost to buy a new printer cause they cost like what the ink carts cost that come with it.
