Pro golfers - luggage and laundry

Does anyone have any idea what pro golfers do in terms of luggage and laundry?

I’m assuming that it is pretty common for guys to be on the road for at least 2-3 weeks at a time, and it seems as tho every time you see them they are wearing different clothes that always look perfectly clean and pressed. They have to prepare for a wide range of weather, and for each day I presume they need a change of clothes for before or after their round. Heck, just a week’s worth of golf caps and spikes for some of the clothes horses would take up a good sized suitcase! And do they haul their clubs with them, or is that the caddies’ job?

Do the tournament hosts offer laundry services, or are these guys saving up quarters to hit the laundromat at night?

The richer golfers can take as much damn luggage as they please, including an extra set of clubs or two. They have the hotel or their personal slave do their laundry. In 2007, the number 100 guy made $1,000,000. The poorest guys may have to do laundry, but no one would notice if they were wearing the same duds twice in a tournament.

It’s not like these guys are driving from tournament to tournament in a beat-up Celica. The ones who drive the circuit usually drive a Lincoln or Cadillac at the very least. Plenty of room for luggage, clubs and the like. They aren’t staying at the local Super 8 Motel (Hourly rates available), either.

The ones that have clothing sponsors (pretty much all of them) are outfitted by their sponsors. For example, Nike’s website will show what Tiger will be wearing somewhere on their homepage before he actually wears it.
