Pro sports teams from cities other than Pittsburgh that all have matching colors?

The pro football, baseball and hockey teams in Pittburgh all have black and gold (in various shades) as their colors:

Any other cities that have that consistency in team colors?

D.C United, The Washington Wizards, The Nationals, and the Capitals all have Red, White, and Blue.

Not unique, but it fits the bill of what you’re asking.

Although the Nationals I don’t think have much (if any) blue in them so maybe I’m wrong. Either way I’m submitting the answer for discussion

Washington’s consistency is ruined by the Redskins, who use red and yellow.

Seattle is down to two teams but they use sort of blue-and-greenish schemes. Not quite the same shades but it’s the same idea. If they get an NBA or NHL team we’ll see what happens.

Montreal was always a red-white-and-blue town with the Canadiens, Expos, and Alouettes, but the Expos are gone now.

Other than that, I don’t think any city really even comes close to Pittsburgh. It would help if they got a basketball team.

St. Louis in the 1960s had the baseball Cardinals, the NFL Cardinals and the NBA Hwaks all using a red/white color scheme AND a bird for a mascot.

Oddly, the Hawks and the NFL Cardinals brought their colors (and mascots) from other cities.

Atlanta with their Hawks (predominantly red, white, and charcoal grey), Falcons (red, white, and black), and Braves (red, white, and navy blue) come as relatively close to qualifying for this topics as the other suggested cities.

Houston was once also a strong-ish candidate when the Astros were using a red, black, and white scheme during 2000-2012, which went along with the Rockets’ red, white, and black, and the Texans’ red, white, and navy blue.

Green Bay

70s-80s LA Rams, Lakers and Kings all had yellow or gold themed colors (I know the Dodgers did not)

Nor the Angels.

DC United is red, white, and black with black being the dominant color.

Ooo, tell me about Green Bay’s pro teams other than football!

You asked for consistency in team colors, can’t beat them in that category.

The ABA Pittsburgh Condors used blue and orange, then red and gold, and went defunct. Probably should have gone with black and gold.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Redskins. I’ll just go ahead and say that I left them off on purpose cuz they’re racist so, um, boo Redskins!

In Montreal, at one point, There were the Habs, the Expos and the Concordes/Alouettes of the CFlL all sporting various version of Le Bleu, Blanc et Rouge. You can even throw in the Nords to expand to Quebec.

Actually the Sounders (the MLS team) has a very similar blue/green color scheme to the Seahawks, with the Mariners being kind of muted relative to the other two.

Like others have said, there was a stretch where all the Houston teams were some variant of red, white and blue, with IIRC, the Rockets and Texans being almost identical, and the Astros having a more brick-red color involved. I sort of wish that they’d have gone with a NASA or space related name instead of the Texans for the football team; then the major sports teams would all have similar name schemes.

The NHL Thrashers’ orange and baby blue kind of throw that off.

Actually, Atlanta no longer has the Thrashers, and hasn’t since the Thrashers moved to Winnipeg and became the Jets redux in 2011. Ironically, in becoming the second Winnipeg Jets, the team’s colors (darkish blue, white/silver, and a teeny-tiny hint of black) almost, not quite, but almost match the overall combo exhibited by the teams of where they left…certainly considerably more than the Thrashers’ scheme anyway.

This documentary had a Pittsburgh basketball team that wore red. white/gray and blue.

The new MLS team, Atlanta United FC, which is owned by Arthur Blank (owner of the Falcons) throws off the scheme a bit - black, red, and gold. Though it seems Atlanta pro teams (current ones) all have red involved.

Well, how 'bout that. Shows how much I follow the NHL I guess. I still Atlanta doesn’t really qualify because the Falcons don’t incorporate any shade of blue. Just red and black.
