Product polling

Do independent polling houses exist where they decide what they want to poll based on the projected value of the poll they are going to conduct?

By “value” do you mean the price they can sell the results for, or some other measure of value.

Yes, how much can they sell it for, Also, they could connect the data with companies that would value it the most.

I am envisioning an innovation driver. More specific, pertinent data that corporations could use to stay at the top of their game.

JD Power comes to mind. They poll new car owners independent of the OEM’S and then sell customized tiers of data to the OEM’s. Their rankings are valued because they are not skewed too much by their customers.

I worked and retired from both Nissan and Bose in the infotainment field and their feedback was greatly valued, even if it was bad news. Some years Nissan would not purchase the data and Bose would cite it to them show that they were falling behind the other car companies.

They also serve many other industries.
