I wouldn’t really count one that had his disability negated like that. Even considering Daredevil a disabled superhero is debatable to me, but at leas he actually can’t see.
The “disability makes me better” trope just isn’t what I’d think the people mentioned in the OP would want. Xavier, as far as I can remember, had the same powers before being crippled even when he debuted. It didn’t make him better.
That’s not to say these other examples don’t work. Yours was the only one that gave details.
I wouldn’t count Hephaestus/Vulcan as particularly good or evil, really. None of the Greek gods really fit those paradigms.
