Professional career mentoring requested: help me learn how to do better

I’m not blaming myself or anyone. The stress comes from the fact that as long as this goes on, those items can’t be cleared “off my plate”. I have tasks that need to be done when every client has implemented successfully, and I can’t do them until they are. So it compounds my workload.

oh well, the answer is obvious, you need to ditch this client, they are BAD  (I was going to say take them outside and beat them with a stick, but thought better of joking about violence). I’m afraid I don’t understand why everybody has to do it at once, why can’t it be staggered and that BAD client just gets theirs later (don’t explain, I’m just flummoxed).

Anyway, I understand. I’d feel anxious in that environment. I like doing things. “Doing” as in finishing and feeling the satisfaction of having finished it (and done it well). Being at the mercy of others to ever finish what you’ve worked towards would drive me nuts. If that’s how it’s done in your field, you are between a rock and a hard place.
