Posts about a couple scenes got me thinking…and I came to the conclusion he’s not real.
The one where the person states the 2 time Travis has “seen” Geller were clever editing, and Dexter didn’t actually see him, but instead took his word for it
The next scene mentioned that caught my attention was the cafe scene. There is no interaction between the waitress and Geller.
Even after these I wasn’t convinced, but then it hit me like a ton of bricks! At the end of the Get Geller episode, when Dexter finds Travis unconscious but still breathing, he hears a noise. He then notices a trap door under an extremely heavy table. I remember thinking, how the hell did Geller get down there and move that table back on top of the door?! I kicked it around for a while, then got too wrapped up in the suspense. I half expected that to be a fake Geller in the freezer and the real Geller to be lurking in a dark corner, but I believe freezer Geller is 100% genuine.
The table on top of the trap door, and the malicious look on Travis’ face when he picked up the machete knowing Dexter was in the basement, removed all doubt in my mind. Travis is acting alone.
