Just for information purposes, the other significant issue on which MI6 has found itself at odds with US securiey agencies was on the likely death or not of Saddam - MI6 were very quick to say he left the restaurant 20 minutes before the bomb hit whereas the US have always said Saddam was still inside … I guess time will tell.
