Every time I drink a protein drink after a workout, my saliva ends up getting thick and chewy.
Here’s what it contains:
The first and only post workout drink specifically targeted for quicker muscle fiber repair and substrate restoration. Rapid Recovery is loaded with low molecular weight whey protein isolates and branched chain amino acids. No sugar!
Serving Size: 20 oz.
Protein 35g
Carbohydrates 25g
Fat 0
Glycerol 10g
Glutamine Peptide 5g
Vanady Sulfate 15mg
Sugar 0
Why would this be happening in my mouth?
Hmm, this is what they want you to think. Sounds like the normal suppliment psuedo-science, they say alot of pretty sounding things, but the science just doesn’t back it up.
Now how does it specifically target quicker muscle fiber repair? Is it like one of them smart bombs? Nano-assemblers in the protien drink?
Hint- Save your money and your chewy saliva and eat some eggs and oatmeal after your workout.
Part of the reason is because you are dehydrated. Be advised that consuming large servings of protein will contibute to dehydration as the proteins are broken down.
