Proxy Server Help!

Hi,

I setup a proxy server on my home network to share an internet connection between two other computers.
The problem is that the as far as i can tell the clients cannot request pages which use asp and keep gettin the “page cannot be found error”.
I dont know enough about proxy’s to be able to fins this so can anyone help me as im in desperate need of assistance.
I’m using spoonproxy and running windows ME.

If the proxy server is Microsoft proxy server 2.x you must have installed the MS proxy client on the other machines to allow full access to sites. If you have dsl or a fixed IP IIRC you can bind a second IP range to your ethernet adaptor and use the static IP as a gateway, bypassing the need for a proxy server entirely. I can help you set it up if this is the case, but it’s not my profession.
