Psychiatrists are trained medical doctors, but the medicine they practice is different from all the other doctors. So, when it comes to maintaining their licence, how is this done? The obvious answer would slant towards their practice within their speciality and such, but what about all that initial training in general medicine? If they are indeed viewed as medical doctors, how do they keep that up whe their actual practice is not as physical as others in the same profession?
