"Psychics" and terrorists.

I predict that won’t happen.

I’m actually surprised that no one has taken this coveted prize. Usually those flim flam artists don’t care how they take a buck or who from.

Are you guys reading? Someone did take the coveted prize, and lied about it to.

Check out http://www.sylvia.org for yourself. See the popup.

If you browse around her site long enough you might find the pictures of her sucking Larry Kings wrinkly [bleep] while getting [bleep] in the [bleep] by a goat. But I wouldn’t want to see that.

Well, I had a feeling all last week that something really bad was going to happen. I even thought about starting a thread on it. I didn’t cause if it happens you look guilty and if it doesn’t you look stupid. The thought that kept popping into my mind was “unbelievably horrible.” I did mention the Oklahoma City bombing to seven people out of the blue. I remember thinking “I don’t want to be right about this one.”

The last time I felt like that was early July 1999. I kept talking about the Kennedys.

The next time, I’m going to tell everyone. Or at least send myself an e-mail with date and time, so I can prove it.

This doesn’t prove anything, and I certainly don’t mean to imply that I have psychic abilities, but Sunday night (or Monday morning) I had a dream where I was in a dark room with a large window. There was an unidentified man (kind of large with a beard and dark hair) and a perfect view of the Twin Towers through the window. They stood serenely and eerily alone (no other buildings could be seen). I actually had the overlap view of them (I could see all of one tower and then a little bit of the second one just behind it). I don’t remember any other aspect of the dream, and certainly there was no damage to them (smoke, fire, etc.) What is strange is that I live in California, and don’t have a clue as to why I would dream about them. I am originally from NJ and have seen the towers several times before in trips into the city. I’ve never dreamt about them before as far as I can recall.
Just strange…

I think it’s horrible they way you doubting Thomases put down those whose powers and abilities can so obviously help us in our time of need. I say we utilize these wonderful people by gathering them all up and shipping them to the source of the problem where they can do the most good. I realize that we may be bombing the area in the near future, but I am sure that many psychics can erect a “psychic” barrier to protect them with no effort whatsoever.

If anybody sees any other “psychics” taking credit for predicting this, please e-mail me to let me know. I’m putting together an article on this topic to slam these bleeping parasites on humanity.

Incidentally, here is one guy claiming to look at the situation using astrological charts: Jack Gillen. Some quotes:

"Events like this make me want to get to making predictions, as this event could’ve been predicted, from the Venus 8-year cycle that I’ve talked about in my books.

I will definitely work on the chart of George W. Bush to determine any death aspects, like I did with Nixon. If you are in our commodity class, you already know about the market aspect from August 27 - September 17. Because of the crucial times ahead, I will stay on the commodity forum and guide you through the end of the year. There are a few things that will bring crucial changes that you will need to know about. Tragic events like this are a apart of history, and cycles that govern this world."

So make sure you follow him as he uses tragedy to promote himself. Go team! Asshole.

I can’t believe that no one has yet mentioned this was clearly articulated in the Bible Code.

I don’t know how to make smilies, but if you couldn’t tell I am being sarcastic.

I predict that something bad is going to happen within the next year!
There. Now, when my prediction comes true, you may all worship and adore me and give me all your money.

We already worship and adore you. But you can forget about the money part.

The problem with hindsight is that anyone could make anything into “proof” that they knew this was going to happen, and there are people guliable enough that someone will believe their claims.

On Tuesday morning, around 8:30am, it was time to bring the morning preschool class in from playground. One of the three-year-olds(who is amazingly articulate, btw)pointed up at the dark clouds in the sky and told me that it was going to rain. He said his daddy told him that dark clouds mean a storm, and I told him that I thought his daddy was right, and that hopefully we’d get inside before it rained, just to make him laugh. He agreed that we should get in soon, since it’s going to rain “right away.” To our surprise it didn’t rain for another 12 hours, despite that ominous cloud cover.
Obviously the little boy is a psychic. He perdicted a coming storm, and it turned out to be one that had nothing to do with rain. Even his timing was right. Imagine how many people out there would think there was something to this story if I e-mailed it to them…depressing, isn’t it?

I’ve been told by my brother in law that Jack Van Impe (a tv preacher that I’ve never watched) has predicted for years that something “bad” will happen in the US blah blah blah.

I pointed out to my brother in law that if you keep on saying something like that in a generlized way for ohhh about 15 years, it just might come true. Like, " The Cubs are going to win the pennant this year."

The trouble with the clear (and obvious) arguments laid out above is that “believers” (a.k.a. gullible fools) just don’t accept them.

My girlfriend goes to see a “psychic” every once in a while, and comes back with amazing tales about how accurate she had been. For example, she predicted that my girlfriend isn’t earning as much as she would eventually like to (amazing - how did she know that she is the only 23 year old in the world who isn’t wanting to earn more money?) and that a red door is “significant” to her somehow (it isn’t, and she doesn’t know of anyone with a red door, but it could be symbolic, see…). The witch-woman (the psychic, not my girlfriend…) also made some blatantly wrong predictions, but apparantly she is bound to get some things wrong.

I have long ago given up trying to use reason. Now, I just use the gift of sarcasm to make my point.

PS - Regarding WTC dreams: given that there are 6 billion people in the world, I am sure that on any given night there are countless numbers who dream of the WTC. Some of them will even dream of planes crashing into it.

Hoo… boy… ol’ JVI… ya don’t know what yer missing. Or rather ya don’t wanna know… But in his favor, he’s always ** so cheerful** about the world coming to an end

As a life long Cubs fan I disagree. We are at 56 years, and counting. (But this year…BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA SOB)

You know, if we had a Cubs/Red-Sox world series, it would be inevitable that the universe would implode before either team could win.

I watched Jack Van Impe for laughs this week (was his wife “Rexella” deprived of oxygen for an extended period of time?). They had a message pop up on screen that the show was recorded the Saturday before the attack to show that his discussion about terrorism was somehow prophetic. However, he was talking about the upcoming potential of BIOLOGICAL terrorism. Last time I checked, aircraft hijacking and crashing was not considered biological. He also said we should be careful that it might happen some time soon. Oooh, gives ya chills, eh? I predict many deaths in the upcoming year. Then a great power will emerge victorious and the poor will cower. Then some tough times for Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger, but they’ll get through it. Followed by a great fire that America watches as it burns!

“Rexella” LOL. That never gets old.

Well, the terrorists and the people they killed were biological organisms. Isn’t that close enough?
