That’s one laid back kitty! The pups were all over her but she just waltzed around, didn’t try to jump out.
That’s good to know. Sometimes I want to avert my eyes thinking I’m going to see carnage.
They were really cute with the black cat. They were all curious as hell, crowded around it, tried to climb over her, and the cat just acted like they weren’t even there. Perhaps there are cats at their new homes and it’s a way to get the puppies used to them.
Goodness gracious, they are having a BLAST! I missed the kitty, though, even though I tuned in about 5 minutes after your post, Equipoise.

At first he brought the kitty into the room and must have set her down on the floor on the other side of the bars, because all the pups rushed over to see what that was. I couldn’t see the kitty but could hear her meowing. Then the guy stepped into the cage and sat down with the kitty on his lap and the pups were sniffing and licking. The guy said “don’t bite the kitty’s tail” and then he let the kitty walk around in the cage. The pups were all over the kitty and I thought sure the cat would jump out, but no, she kept walking around, exploring, acting like she was all alone in the cage. Then the guy picked up the cat and stepped out.
Holy crap, I think someone gave them Mountain Dew! It’s like a big puppy tornado in there.
There are about 50 toys in that room, but right now they all want to chew on the octopus. At the same time.
In the SFShiba’s Video Clips section there are a couple with the cat. In them the human is keeping hold of the cat (this is after he was sitting down holding the cat on his lap) and it only shows a few seconds. The cat was in the longer than that, by several minutes, and was walking around by himself exploring the whole cage. At least you can see what the cat looks like. I want a black cat!

The black and white one, Oreo is going to jali in Georgia, but Luna still needs to find a new mommy or daddy!
We’re working on raising some travel money and caravans to get them to their new homes, too!
