Purchased Video boxes

Does anyone else wonder why CK, unlike the rest of us, is incapable of squeezing the box so that the friction keeps the tape in? Do you have that dainty of a grip? Just grab that box like a man.

Sure, we can grip it tighter, but do you mean that every person should remember to do that every single time we pick up a video box? Humans have brains so that we can get our machines (boxes, in this case) to do stuff for us, so that we won’t have to remember such trivial details! Give me a break!

Nuts, it’s over a month since I messed up on that UBB code stuff. Now I gotta start my streak all over again… :frowning:

I have to try not to squeeze the box hard enough to kep the tape in. I actually need to shake the box to get the tape out. I just don’t see how you can always pick it up so lightly and not have the whole damn thing slip out of your hand once in a while.

If you have your video boxes arranged on a shelf like I do, there’s a real easy way to avoid pulling them straight out and having the tape fall out the bottom.

  1. Tip top of box towards self. Box is now laying on side, with tape pointing towards the back of the shelf.

  2. Pull box off shelf.

Get a grip. literaly… how weak must you be that you can’t squeeze the sides hard enough to prevent the tape from falling out? Is that TOO much work?

The wisest man I ever knew taught me something I never forgot. And although I never forgot
it, I never quite memorized it either. So what I’m left with is the memory of having learned
something very wise that I can’t quite remember. -George Carlin
