Purchasing a Full Auto

I had never been inspected even once until about 1993. Then I started getting all sorts of inspections.
But they never hounded me over how many actual guns I had sold during the lean years. Odd as I know dealers they tried to put out for selling less than 30 a year when one year I had only sold 5. After the assault weapons ban it went nuts. People were buying pre-ban guns like crazy and many of them were shit. Tec-9’s are shit. Some AK’s are shit. Ram Line high cap magazines are double extra super shit!

About 6 months after W got sworn in a lot of the ATF stuff died down.

I always thought building a minigun in .22LR would be a fun thing.

Yeah, either a minigun or a Tommy Gun would be cool in .22LR. Or would have been when you could find .22LR ammo to buy.

I’ve seen a Gatling gun in 22LR. Nice thing about hand-cranked firearms is they are not machineguns.

It’s been nearly twice that long and I’m still waiting for my stamp just to pick up my suppressor.
Would have been quicker to get a full-auto rifle…

I have never heard of a 12 month wait for a suppressor. None of mine took more than 8. People are getting stamps this week for forms mailed in February and March. A quick check of nfatracker.com shows a stamp was received September 12 for forms mailed on February 21. This was for a suppressor transferred to an individual (not even a Trust), and not eFiled.

There is an issue with your paperwork. Did you mail it yourself? You should call the NFA Branch and inquire.

The gun store told me they were seeing returns of around 11 months for paper filings. I’ll have to dig out my copy and check the date. I might be exaggerating some, but I know it has been a long wait :smack:
At the time we sent my paperwork in the gentleman at the store said the eFile system was essentially useless.
He did mark my paperwork as ‘ok for me to call and check on the progress’ or something to that effect, but I figured the only response I would get is “It is in progress”. They certainly wasted no time cashing my check…
