Pushing Daisies 12/17: The Norwegians

Gukumatz - They *wouldn’t * have to experiment on Digby! Ned can bring fruit back to life - surely that would be the best test subject.

When Ned brings humans back to life, there is always a penalty – another person has to die. What is the penalty for all of this fruit?

I’ve got the past five episodes on DVR and I’ve been rewatching them tonight. I need to make some space for new epsiodes, but I just can’t bring myself to erase them…

In rewatching, I realized that I can’t remember how they explained Chuck to Olive. She knows that the aunts think Chuck is dead, but she doesn’t know about Ned’s magic finger. Does she think that Chuck faked her death?

Great episode. I loved Mother. And we definitely need more Ellen Greene. I hope she gets to sing again before the series ends.

If Ned’s dad had brought Dwight back to life, he could have instantly touched him again, finishing Dwight off once and for all.

Yes, Olive thinks Chuck faked her own death, and Chuck has done nothing to dispel that notion.

I don’t think they’ve given an answer to that! I remember in one episode, they showed Young Ned playing in a pile of dead leaves, which turned green again, but I don’t remember any other plants dying as a result.

I think that they’ve shown that Ned keeps a bunch of potted flowers that die when he brings fruit back to life for his pies. The operating assumption is that something of roughly the same “level” dies when something is permanently resuscitated.

For the leaf-playing I think he re-touched the leaves and they died again.

You know, I believe you are right, on both counts. My memory isn’t what it used to be- at least, I don’t think it is. I really don’t remember.

I’m so sad this show is cancelled when such other dreck is left on ABC. I really find it so funny and odd and touching.

<sigh> Damn you, ABC!

I only watch 2 shows on it and now it’s down to one. :frowning:
