Put a fork in McCain: He's forked

Well, the way I see it, Reagan is going to be the upset, and Carter is going down! Then, we’ll get the hostages back.

Well, Arizona heads to the polls today, and McCain’s not even blipping the radar there! He’s totally forked!

snort :stuck_out_tongue:

You made the call!

Tell me, do you think the Bull Moose party has a chance? I’ve got $50 riding on this… would love your input.

If McCain decides to run a third-party candidacy, as a Bull Moose, well, let’s just say this may be the break the Roosevelt campaign is looking for.

Damn - a Teddy/John ticket. Taft will be so screwed. Do they just want to give the election to Wilson?

What’s wrong with that? He kept us out of the war, didn’t he???

Ronald Reagan?!? The ACTOR!?! Pfft. You might as well elect Gopher from the Love Boat or Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard to Congress!

And Jerry Lewis as Secretary of State no doubt.

On an inappropriately serious note, there were a bunch of Republican who voted for McCain, both in the general and in the GOP primary. Is it a wise tactic to try to convince them that they were successfully flimflammed by a “fraud”? Even a forked fraud?

Yes. Fighting ignorance, and all.

Sad thing is, Santorum has a point. Earmarks are small potatoes compared to entitlements. The difference is that entitlements are seen as necessary and earmarks as undebated, unvetted, and possibly frivolous.

You’re assuming the electorate has a four-year memory.

:D:D:D

So, how did McCain do on Super Tuesday? A sweep?
No, as a matter of fact, I *can’t *let it rest!

McCain was one of the few Republicans to openly denounce Rush Limbaugh this week. Ron Paul was another. Not surprisingly, both have crossed swords with him in the past. Rush being a very vengeful overlord (as Michael Steele and Phil Gingrey and a sprinkling of others have found) I’ve been wondering if he’s going to launch into an anti-McCain rant soon. (Ironically if Rush called McCain a prostitute and a slut who wants others to pay for his sex I have no doubts there are millions who’d echo “He’s right! Because Bill Maher never apologized [STROPHE]!”)

Yet another Wednesday morning with McCain failing to notch a vote the day before. I’m telling you: Santorum calling McCain a fiscal fraud three years after McCain lost all presidential relevance really put a damper on McCain’s chances for the presidency.

During the 2008 primary, Rush stated in no uncertain terms: “If McCain gets the nomination, it will destroy the [Republican] party!” After McCain got the nom, Rush’s support was rather non-committal, choosing to focus mainly on trying to sabotage the ongoing Democratic primary with his Operation: Chaos drones. After Palin was tapped for VP, Rush praised her highly but rarely mentioned McCain.

So, I imagine that John has been waiting for Oxycontin Boy to trip over his own flab.

McCain was on Letterman the other night and made a lot more sense than the candidates.
The convention may not have a pick on the first round, and become brokered.
Maybe they should draft him.
After all, many of the delegates, once freed of primary first round rules, would think “well, I voted for him before and he almost won”

This might be the turning point for his campaign!

Take it to Tampa, John Boy!
