Yeah, it was. He expanded on what you said. You expanded the abbreviation, and he then used that to provide a Wikipedia link.
I’m not sure why you find it so hard to follow. Just because someone quotes you doesn’t mean they are talking to you.
The confusion on the quoting is probably because you did not bother to take out his other link about Alan Davies, and so he thought you were talking about that one. He, like me, thought his reason for including the other link was obvious.
