I have one word for you:
Drummers.

I have one word for you:
Drummers.

Star Trek IV. The only time a phaser is even used is when Kirk melts the lock on a door. There is no gunplay, nobody gets shot, and although Chekov is injured, he is fixed up as good as new.
Oh yeah, no one dies in those movies. :dubious:
I don’t recall any death in Shakespeare in Love.
Been too long since I’ve seen The Producers so I don’t remember that, but in Forum Hero at one point decides to commit suicide by going to the nearby gladiator school and joining a slave coffle being used for practice. The half-dozen or so in the line before him are dispatched before Pseudolus can pull him from the line.
Also, the OP didn’t specify anything objectionable but death, but there’s all the, um, merchandise next door.
Senex: Disgraceful, all that revolting flesh. Just next door…
DD
Yep…I forgot the gladiator training. :smack:
Everybody ought to have a maid…"
I’m not sure about that.
There was frequent mentions of their drummers dying, including the one who drowned on somebody elses vomit.
I believe that during the end credits, their current drummer dies as well.
The Karate Kid, though I believe there is some mention of the father dying recently (prompting the move to Reseda).
The OP might get better suggestions if we knew Sheldon’s age…
No problem then. You just have to hit the “STOP” button and say “Ta-dah! The end.”
I believe that during the end credits, their current drummer dies as well.
You’re right–I forgot about the “current” drummer flaming out. I wasn’t counting the previous drummers because they’re already dead when the timeline of the movie starts. Of course, if we’re excluding any movies with references to those who died in the past, the list would be much shorter.
I don’t recall any death in Shakespeare in Love
Christopher Marlowe (Rupert Everett) is killed and his death is announced at the R&J rehearsal.
I don’t recall any death in Shakespeare in Love.
Marlowe.
I don’t recall any death in Shakespeare in Love.
Except for the news of Christophe Marlowe’s murder, if you think that counts.
In A Bug’s Life, we not only witness Hopper’s death, we witness it from his point of view.
I don’t think anybody dies in Bringing Up Baby, speaking of screwball romps.
I believe everyone survives Young Frankenstein, unless you consider the source of the body parts as exposure to death.
Hmmm. this is difficult.
Try these:
*When Harry met Sally
Look Who’s Talking
Nine Months* (I know. But my wife and I liked it)
Junior
12 Angry Men No one dies in the film (though there’s a murder some time before; it’s ranked #21 in the IMDB top 250.
When Night is Falling. Good movie. No one dies.
Lost In Translation.
Modern Times
Big - it’s been a few years since I’ve seen it, I’m not positive but I can’t recall any deaths.
Ghostbusters - I’m pretty sure nobody actually dies in it.
E.T. - again, it’s been a while but I can’t recall any deaths?
About a Boy - Again, I don’t recall any deaths.
Sense and Sensibility - it deals with death at the beginning but nobody actually dies in the movie.
Almost Famous. The only death you see in that one is the death of innocence.
48 Hours?
When Night is Falling. Good movie. No one dies.
Great movie, no one dies. Not even the dog.
It does have a bunch of on-screen lesbian sex, though. (Not that I’m complaining.) Depending on how little Sheldon was “sheltered,” this may or may not be a problem.
I can think of plenty of good quality, delightfully entertaining movies in which no one dies. Of course, these are all porn flicks but they have zero deaths in them. A couple even promote education by taking place in classrooms. One in particular has a student being quizzed by her teacher and “corrected” when she gives a wrong answer. I bet she won’t make the same mistake twice!
