Question about 2 stolen meds

The doctor doesn’t HAVE to write a replacement script. Especially if they suspect shenanigans. But even if the doc does reissue the script, you are right, the insurance won’t pay for it.

Technically, in some states, your mother could be charged with a felony for being in physical possession of prescription drugs that were not prescribed to her.

Some states’ legislatures have been particylarly shrill about such things. In Texas, for example, it is a crime to be outside your home carrying your medications in a daily pill sorter, without carrying the original bottles or the written prescriptions along with you.

Never plus one. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wish to apologize to the OP. He is clearly not a troll. He is a valued member of our community who has contributed lots of good content. In the future, I will not be so quick to judge new members.

Well* I* haven’t given up yet.

You chose to revive this thread…why? To make a sarcastic point? OK.

Warning issued for failure to follow a moderator’s instructions (from the prior note in this thread) and for trolling.

I didn’t disobey any moderator instructions in this thread. My second warning was just because the mods hate me.

I’m being treated unfairly. Mods just don’t want to admit they were wrong so they’re doubling down on punishing me.

Huh? That appears to be elgringo’s only post on the forum. How can your post be interpreted as anything other than a sarcastic reminder that you called him to be NOT a valuable contributor right away?

I’m not sure what it is you think the mods were wrong about. There has long been a rule against accusations of trolling outside of the Pit. You made the accusation, and you were warned for doing so. Not much of a judgment call, there.

If you wish to further discuss either of your warnings in this thread, please start an ATMB thread. You are instructed not to raise it further here.
