I hope someone can help me identify a word that sounds like ‘anatyze’ 1 minute and 29/30 seconds into the following video:
Netto Denmark - Specialised solution for automated order picking of fresh fruit & vegetables
I have played it over several times and it does sound like the narrator is saying ‘anatyze’. I have not been able to find a definition for it, if indeed the word is ‘analyze’. I look forward to your feedback
I believe the word the speaker uses is “palletizing.” The P is really soft, so I had to listen a few times before I heard it.
To be sure, I Googled palletizing machines to see what they were. It is a machine that automatically places items on a pallet. This fits the context of the video perfectly. The company automated picking fruit and packing it.
Yes, palletizing. It’s an unusual word, and it seems to me that the narrator just mangles the pronunciation, but they didn’t bother to go back and re-record it.
When I have this problem I always try turning on the Closed Captioning. It’s not always well done, but in this case it was right there. “Palletizing” is correct.
