I recently found myself directed to the user profile page of a recently banned user. (I happened to fat finger my selection on my iPad). Anyway, as I looked around the page to kill a few moments, I noticed that this persons activity was updated with a time that was earlier in the day…
This person has been banned for weeks now, so I thought this was strange. My question is, if a person gets banned, and they come to browse the SD, is that info captured, and if so, why?
I assume the person had not formally signed out of the SD, so perhaps coming back to the site was like coming back as if they were still a member (I.e. “logged in”). So, even though they can’t post, their visit is still tracked. Is this correct?
If I am wrong about the tracking, how could the last activity field become updated?
