Question about Breaking Bad

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Hank. He has many LMAO moments.

“Climb down out of my ass.”

Hank and Marie blossom into fantastic black comedy … um … blossoms.

Jesse still has his funny moments. And of course there’s Badger and Skinny Pete.

There’s never anything funny about Skyler, really.

“So, I would appreciate it, if you would just… climb down out of my ass… I really would.”

And Tito Salamanca, one of the funniest characters ever on television.

Not sure how far OP is or if any of this would be considered spoily, so just to be safe putting it in a box.

Tio, not Tito. As in Spanish for uncle, he’s Tuco’s uncle. His actual name is Hector. But yeah, he’s got some funny stuff in there.

He’s up for an Emmy this year for Breaking Bad. I heard them saying it was a real testament to his acting when he’s up for an Emmy even though he had virtually no lines and the very few words he did say were in Spanish.

I had read about the X-Files like before but forgot it. Yesterday I watched an episode and was thinking the episode names reminded me of the X-Files episode names.

Do any particular X-Files episodes by Vince Gilligan stand out to you? I used to love The X-Files, maybe I’ll watch a few of his.

They both turn up in How I Met Your Mother too, that’s kind of weird.

Well, the show’s name is “Breaking Bad.” Not good. Not funny. Bad.

Bad.

It’s sort of implied that things go downhill.

Hell of an actor…http://www.vh1.com/celebrity/bwe/images/2011/10/Breaking-Bad-Hector-Faces-1318226431.jpg

IMHO the funniest scene from Breaking Bad :

When Walt (who’s off camera) beings sliding supplies across the basement floor to Krazy 8, and you see a bucket…followed by a roll of toilet paper.

Just watched the first episode of season four. Question: Why did Gus Fring do what he did to Victor?

Without revealing any spoilers beyond 401, the mundane explanation is that Victor let himself be seen at the scene of Gale’s murder.

And then a bottle of hand sanitizer.

He [Victor] also made it clear that he knew to much. Victor may have just been trying to prove to Gus that they didn’t need these two clowns when he could just run the place by himself, but Gus needed to make sure he couldn’t go off on his own. Most importantly, I believe, this was the first time that Walt, Jesse and the viewers really and truly saw that Gus Fring does not fuck around.

Hmm, thanks. I did not know that. But I can see why the possibility of it being the final season added to the intensity of it.

Yeah, I always thought of that scene as Gus establishing that he was a completely ruthless badass to Jesse and Walt for the first time (meaning he isn’t afraid to do some of his own dirty work). That was a really shocking segment and completely unexpected. Gus is usually so calm and fastidious and that made what he did to Victor even more shocking. I had gotten kinda used to Mike and Victor doing all of Gus’ dirty work.
