I thought the movie was fine.
But I hate stupid talking babies.
Is there a stupid talking baby in the series of books?

BTW I thought the ending credits were just about one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. The music is great, too.
See this thread for a discussion of Sunny’s “speech.” She’s much cleverer (and subtle) in the books.
In my opinion, the worst thing about the movie was the butchering of the character of Sunny (the baby). In the books, she does talk, but she says actual words that the people around her mistake as nonsense sounds.
Example:
‘Dragnet!’ Sunny said, which meant ‘But the police think we’re murderers!’
