Do the four panelists who have to sing in the Intros round get to listen to the songs beforehand?

Ack, hit return by mistake. I meant to add that the songs are often so obscure that I’m surprised anyone could remember the choruses, let alone the intros, let alone sing them so one guy’s taking the bass line and the other’s taking the guitar.

I have always assumed that they do. At least for the guest panelists.

According to a Phil Jupitus Q&A, reported in The Independent in 2002, the intros are indeed rehearsed.
