HBO used to have a show called Oz, which was about guys in a maximum security prison. There was a scene between the head Aryan and one of his prags.
Aryan: You know one of those Muslims tried to convince me that Jesus was black? Prag: Well, he was from the Middle East, so he probably would’ve had a olive complexion. Aryan: [flipping through his Bible until he gets to a picture of a white Jesus] Look at that. Does that look like a nigger to you? Prag: No, sir.
My point is simply that it’s probably selective ignorance.
Er… people can of course have differences of opinion about Israel, but I find it bizarre that you are lumping White Supremacists with Zionists. That is confusing the religious idea that Jews are the ‘chosen people’ (in a different way, as I hope is clear to most people, than the white supremacists claim this) with the socio-political goal of Zionism, which was spearheaded at least in good part by not particularly religious people.

#1 Our ( ;j ) use of the term “Chosen People” means only that we were chosen to be the first group to receive ethical monotheism. It in no way means that we consider Jews better than anybody else.
#2 There are atheist Zionists. They don’t believe in God, and don’t consider themselves Jewish. However, they know that other groups consider them Jewish and will persecute them for being Jews. So, the atheist Zionists consider it important for there to be a country where all Jews are guaranteed a safe harbor.
