Question for the medical (DR.) Dopers of the Board

I’m going to be going into a radiology program in late August and one of the classes I’ll be taking right off is Anatomy/Physiology. I took it a year ago, but due to some family matters, I wasn’t able to give the class the attention it needed.

My question is this: Did you have any special techniques or ways of studying that helped you memorize all of the terminology/body systems etc?

Any hints, help or advice would be most appreciated.

Repetition. Repitition. Repetition. Repitition. Repetition. Repitition. Repetition. Repitition. Repetition. Repitition.

That’s what helped me.

Also, if you can find a model - someone patient enough for you to poke, prod and mumble to - it also helps. Rather than looking at photos in a book, a 3-D model makes a difference and helps the learning process.

Good luck
