I used to have Adobe Photo Home edition, but now I have a new pc with windows XP, snd they discontinued the software I had. I used to have fun making photo manipulations switching heads on bodies to amuse my friends. I don’t want something as extensive and pricey as Photoshop, nor do I want something very complex. Is there something in freeware or shareware, or decently priced in software I can get? Any recommendation greatly appreciated by this geek in training:)
WinMorph and IrfanView are both freeware. I haven’t tried anything very fancy with them, but they are serviceable.
I have IrfanView and love it but it doesn’t have that function, I’ll look into winmorph thanks so much!
Jasc Paint Shop Pro and/or Adobe Photoshop Elements are both less than $100 and you can use layers (like you would use for switching heads).
I downloaded Paint shop pro courtesy of a friend (just a few minutes ago as a matter of fact ) so obviously I’ll perhaps need to learn how to do it in that way, because I don’t see any direct way to do the fake head switching. I did however learn to make an animated gif from a series of jpgs and that was magic! So I’ll keep aspiring to apprentice in graphic geekdom! Thanks to everyone who responded
