Question re Democrats who are down on Biden

What could Biden offer any Republican that would overcome the cries of “RINO! Traitor!” directed at anyone who does a deal with him to pass a Democratic priority? And what kind of favor could anyone owe him that would be big enough for something that would end their political career? This isn’t something that “your name on a federal building” is going to compensate for in the end.

In the final analysis, Republican voters have low standards of their politicians and they are rarely disappointed. Democratic voters have high standards of theirs and they are often disappointed.

Surely a guy who has been in politics for 47 years, and is the president for the next four years, has a few favors owed, or favors to offer, useful connections, etc that could be brought to bear.
