Questions about digital TV antennas

Inspired by this, I have been tinkering with fractal-design digital TV antennas. The blogger has a four-element design based on an eight-inch length of wire*, and in the comments is a design for eight elements (which I name Stage 2 for purposes of this thread). Both of these things work surprisingly well for me.

My first question is: What would Stage 3 of the original design look like? Stage 4? Stage 5? Or, other than adding a reflector and making them directional, are there any additional Stages beyond Stage 2?

In this thread, I managed to draw up the next iteration of the original fractal (also based on an eight-inch length of wire)**. Would the new geometry make any difference?

*Might a different beginning length of wire work better for me? I would like to catch 48, 18, 22, 44, 41, 42, and 26. Channel 9 is less than 6 miles away, so that is not a concern. I think any other possible stations are hopeless due to geography.

**If anyone wants to draw up the next iteration, with bends every 1/16 inch, I would wonder about you. :dubious:

But someone could take it up several iterations if they made a PCB.

You might also want to try AVS Forums

It’s a free board (You have to register), like this and those people have TONS of technical information they love to share. There a lot of forums boards so the design is busy but it’s worth the search.
