We’re leaving for a long weekend in Charleston, SC, tomorrow, and I need some fashion advice. We’re visiting family friends, and they’ve said they’d like to take us out to dinner. Not a super-fancy place, but a nice restaurant.
Is Charleston a casual town or a dressier town? Are tourists in jeans normal? For a nice-ish dinner at a restaurant on the water should we have something nicer than jeans and a nice sweater or button up shirt?
Also, the weather’s predicted to be in the ~50s all weekend. Is that still “winter” weather there such that people will be wearing things like fashion (i.e. with heels and zippers) boots and vests? Or should I dig out my spring clothes?
