She has done a lot of bond films now, maybe it’s time for a new M?
It’s only the character’s third Bond film.
But the actress had been in 7 I think, so it does feel like she’s been around awhile.
True - but then, she needs 10 more to catch up with Desmond Llewelyn.
I was actually wondering if the Ralph Fiennes character was going to be the new M. It seems like people involved with the production are trying not to say exactly who he is, and since I know Judi Dench is having some health problems (I think with her eyes?), it would make sense that she was looking to bow out soon.
That’s entirely speculation on my part.
Desmond Llewelyn was Q, not M. Ben Whishaw is going to be the new Q in Skyfall.
Bernard Lee played M for 11 movies, Robert Brown for 4, and Dench for 7.
That could very well be. Although I thought Ralph was going to be a baddie, because, well it’s Ralph.
