Quiet Chi-Dope - Is it possible??

Mike, no grill, but I do have a kitchen which you are more than welcome to use. You’ll be sharing it with Uncle Beer, but I think there’s enough room to accomadate all requests.

I’m driving down from Madison through Rockford. Is it something I can pick up on the way?

Thanks for asking but I actually want to see Jeff. His showroom is in a trailer during construction of his new facility and I want to look at some of his blueprints, he wants me to help him design some of the displays.

Still thinking of what to do with it, I’ll come up with something!

Is it too late to get on the list for tonight?

Maybe you can take my place, Random. I’ve been conscripted at work tonight. Sorry, guys, I gotta back out. Even if they didn’t need me, I can’t afford to pass on extra hours.

What? No wrap up comments yet? I thought for sure someone would have given a play by play of Gundy running down the block naked after the Cubs took the division title.

Or the fact that Peri’s dusty chocolate balls were the hit of the evening. And let’s not forget Judith Preith’s pulled pork.

Also, Random, bartender extrodinare, MikeG who made some kick ass tuna fish and Uncle Beer who didn’t come anywhere near the Apples to Apples game, seemed to have a good time in spite of the total lack of food and alcohol at the Casa J&J.

Boyo Jim seemed to enjoy Random’s bartending prowess as did my sister, who last night turned the peesexchampagneroom into the peesexbarfroom. Yep, that’s right folks, my sister had to barf last night and apparently, she forgot she was in the loft bed and just put her head over the side of the bed and puked. The CSI team would have had a field day with the splatter patterns. At least that’s what Joanz says - I did not look at the damage. But a 2:30 today, Joanz, the trooper, was cleaning barf up, hangover and all. What a great sis I have.

**Porcupine ** dancing on the bar and rowbazzle singing along to Margaritaville were some other highlights of this “quiet” Chi dope.

Now, who am I forgetting? I know there were others who cheated at A2A or trivial pursuit or recited all the words to the Princess Bride with me, but, things are kinda blurry, and besides, the computer is in the peesexbarfroom and while my sister did a great job cleaning up, let’s just say, it needs to air out a little more.

Cosmo the wonder dog graduated this morning from puppy classes. He made us sooo proud. Now, I’m off to rehydrate myself.

Hope ya all had good time and we’ll be sure to do it again soon!!

OH MY GOD. Is THAT how I got all these scratches?!

Ahem. No mention of Team Jew stomping the rest of y’all in Trivial Pursuit?

It was clearly another blatant example of the world wide Zionist conspiracy:dubious:
chump
Great time last night, Peri’s truffles were indeed incredible, Uncle Beer’s spanakopitas were amazing, I wish I had taken a few home!

other items of note:

  • player pianos are altogether too loud.

  • sushi is not good the next day, I gave it to the cats.

  • Gundy’s son has a bright future in bartending.

  • or selling drugs

  • “This will either be incredibly easy or very hard”

  • chump

  • Gaudere left way too early…stupid date, I hope he was worth it!

  • Adolf Eichmann

  • Jane has fantastic design sense, the colours of your house rock

  • I do not give a flying fuck about apostrophes

  • we need to do this more often!

Foolishly thinking I would save time, I drove back to Madison last noght rather than to the hotel, got home about 330AM, and slept til about 3PM this afternoon.

Thank you for the really pleasant evening, Jane, the nicest I’ve had in some time. Witty company, loads of good finger and gut food, and a baseball championship to boot!

However, I insist that the Apples 2 Apples game was rigged secretly in a giant conspiracy against me. It all started with you getting me drunk, Jane. Ummm… apple martinis…

Team Jew was indeed awesome, buy only because Team Gentile failed to gel as a team, crippled by same schisms that made the Church a shadow of its former self. Cause really, if we’d have had it together, we would’ve crucified you.

It was a night of dream fulfillment- the Cubs winning, and hearing “Mandy” on a player piano on the same night to cap it off.

My favorite:
I’m not sure which I found more appealing, Peri or her truffles. I know of at least one wedding invitation offered to to her immediately upon tasting one. I would have too, but I was too busy eating.

I had a wonderful time. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. “Sins of Emission” indeed.

Jane, thanks so much for hosting. And BTW, I left a disposable camera there - I have no idea how many pics were taken.

Many more thanks to Jane for hosting a great evening! Even though there wasn’t nearly enough food or booze.

If you find porcupine’s camera, make sure you immortalize your Gorge or Norge or what have you.
