I had the same kind of disdain for Kate until I really listened to her. You can’t really get a feel for what she’s about until you give her a chance. Once you get past the odd singing style and listen to what’s going on in the music and lyrics, then you could start to appreciate her.

I’ve never heard anything by Tori Amos that didn’t go in one ear and out the other. Some people want there to be a connection between her and Kate, but there is none. Absolutely none.
