Ok, so I know this game repeats words, but three times in a little over a week? Coven was on 4/6, 4/12, and 4/15 today. At least it was an easy one to see. Hazel was the only choice I could see for the #1 word too, unless Quordle uses ED ending words.
Now I was down to two choices each for the next two words (had Lapse and False, and then Truer and Tuber), so to guarantee a 7, I went with BALER to suss out the position of the L, and also the B in Tuber. Little did I know, the word I thought had to be either Truer or Tuber actually started with a B. Easy solve from there for the two words.

Yes, I decided to play again…glutton for punishment I guess. ;). And there’s my Tuber - lol…must be psychic (see my Quordle notes). Still don’t know if I’ll play both on the regular though. I didn’t like that it took 5 guesses to get the first word, but it helped for the others.
No warning necessary…you should hear the F bombs that sometimes fly outta my mouth with these games. I totally agree about the repeated words so often. They really need an editor…and I can’t believe I’m saying that with how I feel about Wordle having one.

The closely repeated words is quite odd, it was never like that with quordle before the addition of sequence. It’s so obvious that it almost seems purposeful rather than just lazy. I’m willing to play out a few more to see if it continues.

This was a weird one. I had three of four words, and the only thing I knew of the fourth was that it contains an O…

Darn it, the one day I don’t go with Stale or Slate as a start word…decided to toss a coin later for it. Bench was an easy solve after my second start word. I then had four choices for the #3 word, and went with the one that’d tell me the most (Swash), and it did. Then, much like @Half_Man_Half_Wit, I was faced with only having the O in yellow for the #4 word. I had 5 options written down…went with Podgy to check the most, and that told me what it was. Now for the coin toss…Slate won! Phew.

I was too hasty…I didn’t even think of Built before Quilt, dang it. Saw Linen before Liken too. If it didn’t take me so many guesses to solve the first word, and there weren’t so many trap words, this game would be more fun. No repeats at least, so there’s that.

Hard words today in both puzzles! They got me with the last word, figuring it might be another repeat, but then it wasn’t. So I ended up slang/ slant on quordle and slant/ slang on sequence
@SeaSun I didn’t even think of either guilt or quilt. But I usually just go with whatever pops to mind first. Seems like when I think about it too much I screw it all up.

Back for more punishment, though it went better for me today. I thought I was in trouble on the second word if it was a _O_ER trap, and was so relieved it wasn’t!
@chiliwillybing yeah, the overthinking thing can mess ya up sometimes. Being too hasty can as well…I’m trying to find a balance so I don’t drive myself too nuts.
I see we played almost the same game today again. I almost went with Loner, but too many OWER words, so had to check that.

I made two stupid mistakes. First with putting Their for the #3 word when I had the ‘I’ in green in the middle. Then I knew the R was last in the #1 word but I typed Moral instead of Molar. I’m at least glad I guessed right between Crier and Drier.

Well, I started out good…I think that’s the first time I’ve gotten a word in 2 in Sequence. But then things went a little south with the trap, though it didn’t end up as bad as I feared. And then…Droit? It’s a French word meaning “right” (as in direction), at least that’s all I knew it by. Looked it up and learned a new word.
Silver linings One of those words was new to me too (see above in my hidden comment).
